Our History

Country Fresh originated from a Shop in Norwich and was Founded by its Current Chairman Delbert Gunns in 1975 who was also a Potato and root Crop farmer. The business grew steadily over 35 years and ventured into prepared vegetables and supplying Catering establishments with a variety of Produce.

In 2000 James Gunns, Delbert's son joined the company. A rapid expansion in both turnover and product range has taken place since then. In February 2010 Country Fresh Gourmet was formed from the purchase of the Good Food Cellar. This division was created to specialise in the supply Cheese, Olives and Fine foods to compliment the fresh Produce range.
