Country Fresh Produce is owned and managed by James and Delbert Gunns. Country Fresh has supplied various clients ranging from small catering establishments to national hotel chains for over 30 years.
We understand that businesses and chefs are under constant pressure to keep costs down whilst designing imaginative exciting menus and food. This balance is achieved by offering fixed price contracts to our clients. In addition to this we offer complimentary menu and product planning meetings as required at our own test kitchen facility or at a client’s premises.

The extensive product list includes Fruit, Vegetables, Bakery, Dairy Products and other chilled foods. We also offer freshly prepared Vegetables, Fruit and Salads all produced in our own “BRC grade A” accredited factory. In season we source the best local produce reducing food miles where possible. Almost sixty percent of what we sell is collected by our bespoke fleet of refrigerated 3 ½ and 7 ½ tonne vehicles on the way back from making deliveries to clients, thus promoting our efficiencies and environmentally friendly measures further. For products that can not be sourced locally we buy direct from all over the globe including a dedicated agent in the world famous Rungis Market in Paris.

We pride ourselves on being able to source some 5,000 products within 24 hours. This is made possible through business efficiencies we have developed and continue to improve upon. Exceptional service is given to all clients on any size of order and our clients know that in an emergency, they can depend on us.

Country Fresh offers a range of ordering services from pre arranged telesales calls to a personally answered evening telesales service until 10:30pm six nights per week.
